Through the Ministry of Constitution and Law to enact a specific law to deal with issues of sexual violence so that we reduce these acts as aligned with the SADC Model Law which we Tanzania are members of and we participated in developing
✅️ Accelerating the process of drafting the second phase of the National Plan to eradicate Sexual Violence (MTAKUWA II)
✅️ Conducting a review to strengthen the reporting systems and the processing of Sexual Violence Statistics so that they can be compatible between the service providers (Police, Social Welfare, Health, Courts etc.)
✅️ Speeding up the CHANGES TO THE MARRIAGE ACT OF 1972 so that our girls and girls can be protected by the law.
✅️ To strengthen the Guidelines and establish strict rules that will protect women and girls from acts of sexual violence and humiliation in politics during elections
